Library of Personal Finance
General information about the Library of Personal Finance, which maintains and catalogs a physical collection of education materials related to the field of personal finance.

Center for Consumer Financial Research
The Center for Consumer Financial Research expands and disseminates the body of independent, unbiased research within the field of financial literacy.

Partnerships

Habitat for Humanity    A pilot program between the Institute for Financial Literacy and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland to actively assist Habitat families through financial counseling and education.

Pro Bono Project    Information about the Institute’s partnership with Legal Service Organizations to provide their clients with pro bono (free) bankruptcy related pre-filing counseling and post-filing debtor education services.

Educational Affiliates    Information for financial professionals that would like to make the Institute’s financial counseling and education available to their clients.

Teachers Take FLITE (Financial Literacy Instructional Techniques for Educators)    A professional development program for K - 12 teachers looking to incorporate financial literacy education in their curriculum.

Project SCREEN   A special program that provides professional training in teaching financial literacy education to those who are working with senior citizens and offers participants a financial literacy education program designed specifically for senior citizens. 

Other Projects    Special projects in development and information for those interested in partnering with the Institute to develop educational programs for specific populations.
